Please come along!

We welcome and actively encourage all members of our community to come along to our meetings. You will have the opportunity to speak if you wish to, though you won’t be able to vote.

You can call a meeting!

We are obliged to hold a special meeting if we receive a request in writing signed by at least 20 members of the community.

Ordinary meetings

We meet monthly (apart from July and December) on the 4th Monday of the month, usually at 7.15pm at Kilmallie Community Centre, but please check with secretary for details in case of rearrangement at short notice.

Occasionally we have guest speakers at our meetings to talk about topics of local relevance and interest.

Highland Councillors are regularly in attendance.

We are required by our constitution to hold at least 6 meetings per year.

Annual General Meetings

We hold our AGM on the 4th Monday of June each year, usually at 7.15pm at Kilmallie Community Centre, but please check for details in case of rearrangement at short notice.

AGMs are an opportunity for everyone in the community to hear what the council has been doing and to influence our activities over the coming year. We receive the Chairman’s Annual Report, approve the annual accounts and appoint office bearers.

Special Meetings

We may call special meetings from time to time if the need arises.
