We give apologies to those who tried to join our AGM and regular monthly meeting by Zoom last night. We aimed to offer the hybrid option of attending in person at the Community Centre, or by Zoom. While the Centre’s broadband was working fine a week before when we decided to offer the hybrid option and indeed was working at 4pm yesterday, we tried to connect for 20 minutes from 7pm last night to no avail.
On contacting the Centre’s provider, Lochielnet, today,we learned that one of their leased lines had gone down last night, coinciding with our meeting.
As things stand at present we are likely to offer a hybrid meeting next time, though we’ll make further checks. Again, please accept our apologies….
